Little Princess

This was the first newborn baby I have ever photographed- YIPPY!!
This little baby was only a week and a bit when I photographed her and her mum, both such beautiful people inside and out!

Here is Kylie's beautiful story:

How has Lilly brought change into our lives?
We prayed about it and planned to have Lilly this year but didn't expect to fall pregnant so quickly, God's timing is always completely different to our own but always perfect! It was such an exciting time, not only for us but for our families when we found out I was pregnant, Lilly would be the first grandchild! My pregnancy was wonderful and I enjoyed every minute of it, especially when I could feel her moving! On the 8th Nov 2011 I was induced, I was hoping to give birth naturally but I ended up having a C-section at 9:34 the same morning Lilly came into this world and the emotions that flooded over my husband and myself were indescribable, just hearing her first little cry brought tears of pure joy and excitement. I was on cloud nine for the first couple of days but very emotional. When we got home the emotions were even worse and very scary, everything became very real, and it suddenly struck me that this little girl was here for the rest of our lives, this was a very unnerving realization and the feelings that came to the surface, feelings of absolute fear, anxiety, joy, pure love, all came at once!
Its been 2 weeks today, and as we are settling and my baby girl and I are getting to know each other a bit better I am falling more and more in love with her every time I hold her in my arms!
Someone told me the other day that you need to find a gem in your baby every day, I am finding so many as the days go by, just one little moment where her little eyes focus on my face melts my heart. This little girl is an absolute blessing, and our Lord Jesus Christ has given us the most precious and incredible gift, we could not have asked for anything more, she's perfect and we are so excited to watch her grow into and become what God had called her to be. She has been entrusted to us and we have promised each other that we will do everything and more to bring her up in the ways of the Lord and make sure she has the best possible life! I have always wondered what it felt like to love your own child because I was privileged enough to have parents who loved me. And now I know; and if someone had to ask me how it feels, I would say I can't describe the love; you have to have had your own child before you can feel a love like this! I think what is so amazing to me is that this love I have for Lilly is only a drop in the ocean compared to the love that God has for us, but I think I can now begin to understand His love for us, even if its just a little.

My thoughts:
When I see babies I can't help but be in awe at how incredible God is. I am not a mum, but through this assignment I have felt so many emotions towards all these girls and I just think how amazing it is that we are given the privilege to carry our children, that one day we will have a beautiful child growing within us, and even though we have not met an incredible love is formed, a love that cannot be explained.
I know it is not my time yet, but I can't wait for the day when I get to feel my son or daughter inside of me and when I can hold them in my arms.
God is truly indescribable!!
